The Grant County Sheriff Department lifted the Level 1 Evacuation for the South Fork of the John Day River area and south and east of Deer Creek at 6:00 pm today.
Level 1 Evacuation remains in effect for the area north of Forest Road 2150, west of Forest Road 21, south of Highway 26 and east of a line drawn due north from Aldrich Mt. to Highway 26.. Only 12 structures will remain in Level 1 Evacuation.
